| IITJEE Introduction
JEE, or Joint Entrance Examination by IIT's, popularly referred to
as IITJEE, is an annual entrance examination conducted usually in
the month of April or May every year. Performance in this
examination determines admission of the candidate to IIT's as well
as other institutes accepting IITJEE scores for admission to
undergraduate programs in engineering. Students can also apply for
B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), B.Des (Bachelor of Design), Dual
Degree (Integrated Bachelor of Technology and Masters of Technology)
and Integrated M.Sc (Master of Sciences) courses in the various
institutes. Considered as one of the toughest engineering entrance
exams in the world, IITJEE has a success rate of around 1 in 36.
Achieving entrance into an IIT is the dream of almost every science
student, and the IITs/IT-BHU/ISM attracts some of the brightest
students of the nation. |
